bills were printed in California and some persons unknown or at-least not reveled were selling them at the county fair near where I live.

I sense satire. --But, the funny part is that this was based off of a McCain ad, which Obama alluded to in saying that they were saying that he didn't look like the rest of the presidents on U.S. currency, and then had McCain come after him for bring "race" into the campaign. Eh. I'd imagine this wouldn't have looked good for the GOP if they didn't hop on it and stomp it out. McCain has been inconsistent, but he's done a lot to keep the campaign in the arena of "respectful disagreement" when it teeters in this dangerous directions.

In a dumb way, I kind of admire that 3 dollar bill. I admire the Photoshopping skills involved. Not bad, not bad.

From the standpoint of satire, that thing flunks miserably, since the only person who would find it funny would be someone dumb enough to believe any of the racist stuff on it.

As for the bill. It's interesting in the amount of detail for something so lame, but it would no doubt find those who think its hillarious.

It's just that satire usually works best when it comments on a truism. Political cartoons which depict Dubya as a low IQ guy are usually funny, because even his defenders know he ain't a terribly bright guy. I can laugh at Hillary being depicted as a shrew, because up to a point it's true. But the references to Ted Kennedy and Al Sharpton, and the camel and the desert hat, speak more to fearmongering than jest.

I did think the "Prince of Platitudes" line was funny.

The GOP was going to hand out tire gauges, but that would have been a good thing, as having the correct tire pressure really does help with gas mileage. The Dems were going to hand out those fake, plastic, keys babies play with to signify McCain's houses. Which would have been good for a goof, but pretty immature. This is ok. At least it isn't the purple band-aids, which kinda pissed me off, and I'm wondering why more people weren't. If the Dems did that about McCain, we'd never hear the end of it. Support the troops... as long as they have an (R) next to their names. :rolleyes:

After the speech last week, it's less accurate as Obama has actually put out some specifics, and what with Palin as VP nom, it's harder to push.
