new imac?

does anyone know when a new imac will be out? meaning will they be changing the look or anything? im in the market for the 24" and wanted to know if a new one is comming out before i buy it.

I think it's ultrasleek and great looking now. I love they way it looks all set up with my iPhone nustled next to it. They were made for each other haha.

There will always be a new one coming out, in the mean time you could be enjoying these things. Even after the 'new' one's are out, what you have is fine for a long time.

There's rumors about new releases on sept 9th. I think the imac will be updated in design before Christmas. Natural developments will be reduction of the "chin" underneath. I think they will remove the black band around the edge and make the whole machine aluminum, like the MBpros and cinema displays, with a white apple at the bottom instead of the black. They will look allot more Pro-ish and harmonize with the change of macbooks from black and white to aluminum too. They'll probably reduce the width of it again slightly and taper the edges similar to macbook air edges on back.
If they bring back matte screens too, it will be a very tempting machine.

What i really dont apreciate is that in my 24" imac I cant conect it with a 30 inch cinema display :mad:
