I've searched the forums and I'm surprised I haven't seen any discussion in the forums about this:
Google is releasing the beta version of its own open-source web browser, named Chrome. (http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2008/09/fresh-take-on-browser.html)
They have created a "comic strip (http://blogoscoped.com/google-chrome/)" to describe Chrome in some detail.
Google Inc., owner of the most popular Internet search engine, will offer its own free Web browsing software to challenge Microsoft Corp. (http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=ao3ZA91GZzmQ&refer=home)
If I've missed threads on this, please post links to them.

Thanks! I wonder why a MRoogle (http://mroogle.edesignuk.com/) search didn't find it?

I searched for "Google web browser" and none of the posts in that thread showed up. Strange!

I've searched for topics before and it only bring up old threads, it's quite annoying (even when I know there are newer threads, I just can't find them).
