Hi, I am not very familiar with MAC's and I am trying to install a network storage server but having problems. The server is a LACIE homeserve device. Once the installer PKG file is downloaded, I click on it annd it appears to run through the setup process to a successful conclusion.
The issue is that I cannot then find the installed desktop applications.
I have looked in the console log and found the following entries -
2008-09-02 18:28:07.817 Installer[786] Setting package as non OSInstall
2008-09-02 18:28:30.192 Installer[786] Unable to change owner of /. to 502.502: Operation not permitted
2008-09-02 18:28:30.193 Installer[786] Unable to change owner of /Applications to 502.502: Operation not permitted
2008-09-02 18:28:30.193 Installer[786] Unable to change permissions of /Applications to 040755: Operation not permitted
2008-09-02 18:28:30.194 Installer[786] Unable to change mod date of /Applications to <CFDate 0x2172080 [0xa01303fc]>{time = 212098460}: Operation not permitted
I am not sure if this is helpful (certainly not to me), is there someone who can advise please.
Thanks for your time. Hepplo.
