With the prices and date being revealed, who's going to shell out big bucks for one?
 
Have all those people talking about PAYG options prior to this summer, and just after the launch of the 3G iPhone waited?
 
I waited for the PAYG option, and although I think the price is OK have decided that the money is better put towards a new Mac notebook. So I'll keep waiting for the iPhone, and maybe next year's revisions will persuade me.
 
Will consider it, The price isn't too bad but certainly isn't cheap......Will probably end up selling my 8gb Black on eBay and buying the White version just because I like it better and its hard to get in the UK.

I was waiting for the Iphone 3G pay as you go, but since then have bought an iPhone. Why pay so much for a device which I cant even unlock? I dont even really need the features.
 
Yeh I'll be getting one on the 16th - before going to university on the 17th!
Luckily I've found someone who I can hand my current T-Mobile contract over to, leaving me free to transfer to O2 PAYG and the iPhone.
Just need to sell my 2G now and work a few more days....

I'm on the AT&T PAYG plan and have been since the start on my first iPhone. Has that option been unavailable to you guys up to now?
 
No, its expensive to start with and me having a 16GB V1 means there's really not that much of an incentive to get one.

For those prices you might as well jump on the contract, at least you get Visual Voicemail and 3-way voice conferencing AND unlimited data throughout the contract

Maybe if/when prices fall on ebay i'll get one but tbh im not really fussed...im happy with my 2G
 
cant wait, gonna go get it on the 16th from apple store. hope they dont sell out 😛 hahaha lol. Of course they wont! lucky me!
