Sure looks neat.

I set up a bunch of stuff, I plugged in iPod, it Synced, but alas - no new notes were created, as I expected. Who knows where this stuff got stored.

-- edit:

Holy cow - it makes a Contact out of each little item. How goofy. I'm telling the author.

There is a pref to make Notes instead of Contacts, but my Notes didn't work.

i haven't tried it out yet, but i've always used previous versions of it and love it. i like having the weather forecast and movie times on it.

Looks like the ultimate iPod companion to me. I'd love to have some news and weather and movie times with me every time I pull my iPod off my Mac, and this looks like the best-featured/simplest (auto-synching) app to do it.

Will give it a try... when I have an iPod!

Downloaded Pod2Go last night and it worked like a charm. I only had a minute, so I setup horoscopes, movies, stocks and weather. I am very, very impressed.

Can you use it without having your iPod set to mount on desktop?

In other words, without the extra step of having to Eject the iPod?

im pretty sure you have to have FW disk mode enabled. once it's in FW disk mode, you can just drag the ipod's icon to the trash and as long as it's not syncing with anything, it should eject.
