hate to break it to you, but check out how much gamecubes go for on eBay... you'd be getting out good to get $250.

Yeah, eBay is very cheap.Too cheap for me though.:D Thanks for the luck.I am even willing to through in a mint orion 27" TV with 3 sets of VIVO jacks and S-video port if someone pops up with a blue & white.MacReq has G3 333 towers for $199 so I do sort of fell kinda lucky. The TV is worth $188 taxed.

Good grief dude. You're lucky someone has even OFFERED ANYTHING for a used Gamecube and some random (obsolete?) games.

Are you crazy? No one is going to trade you any type of G3 for 200 (maybe) bucks worth of used Gamecube stuff.

Keep your gamecube and buy a used Mac somewhere.

Yeah, I guess it was worth a try, but seriously, no one will give you a Mac for a GameCube, if you're lucky someone might take pitty on you and offer a x486 with Windows 3.1

I've got a windows box I would be willing to trade for, but I don't think he wants that.

PIII 600
128mb Rambus ram
40gig hd (not positive on this size, but I know the drive is really new so I can't be too far off)
intel brand mobo
tdk cd burner
zip drive
ati older video card
intel pro 100 LAN card

:D

OUCH, dude!:D I'd make a bonfire out of it rather than suffer through that OS.

Yeah, I don't think you'll get many offers for that, but good luck.

I don't know about a fast G3, but if you search on ebay for "all in one g3" you can pick up a 233-300Mhz G3 All-in-one computer for around $99-149. (but the shipping might kill ya) I picked up a 266Mhz for my son, works fine for him running OS9. The All in one's seem to be the forgotten model and usually sell pretty cheap on ebay.

Ive got a blue and white g3, I was going to do a clean install of panther on it this weekend. my bro wants to sell it for about two bills so he can buy an ipod, but he also wants a gc, so maybe youll have something here....... I'm only going putting my foot out with this cause I could use tivo in every room, :) but actually now that I think about it, Id need three more directtv lines to install them. (already have 6 )

Anyway I'll see what he says, and get in contact with ya, just curious though, what do you want need the mac for?

btw its a Blue white tower (yikes?) g3 350 with a six gig hd and I think 128 megs of ram, as I said I was gonna upgrade it from 9 to panther this weekend, but if I shouldn't bother give me a shout or something.

Here's your Problem...

Game Cube New $99 Used $69
1 Memory Card New $20 Used $10
6 Games New $40/gm Used $15/gm

You might get $170 for them all, last time I saw a Rev A/B iMac it was $250. A Cube however would only run you about $400-$700 with LCD screen.

Sorry Dude. I would Offer my PS2, but I unfortunately need it for work (and yes I do mean Play Station 2).

I have an Atari ST with a whopping 1 Megabyte of memory, monitor, and external hard drive. I will be willing to part with it for any old, slow, out of date G5. :D :D :D

just reread the post, you're not offering three tivos you're offering a tv with three tivo ports, still its an interesting propisition to mull over.....

the g3 definately not being used sitting here.... I actually wanted to totally upgrade it, or gut it and see if I could turn it into a lintel box I like the case, and I could always decorate it. Maybe a fun project in my spare time, but its not mine anyway. Sorry if rambling, hopped up on hippie speed-ball..... really hate coffee (not the taste but the part that wakes me up) but can't pass up free cappacinos at the cardealership. will keep you posted
