does anyone know if thats the same ram used in the imacs? if so im grabbing me one right now.

Yep should be the same. Current generation Imacs use 800MHz DDR2-SDRAM (PC2-6400), but this will still work, it will be little slower than 800Mhz

Actually the deal is better this week. $5 better. I got it for $39.99 after rebate last week for my wife's Macbook. Still an awesome deal.
