How long till product is in store after update?

Hey guys....supposedly says that updates will be launched next week. If they are...how long do they take to be in store? Im from the UK so im guessing that it will be longer than the US.

Also is the touch good for a car kit?

hmm...all i know is that they are online for preorder the day after they are announced.

Steve will tell us, but the recent updates have been same day or next day, worldwide.

For your second question, yes, so long as you aren't using bluetooth, since the iPod Touch does not contain bluetooth.

I'm glad to hear that because I want to order a new iPod touch as soon as possible.

and if you go instore for one the new one is easy to identify as from the rumour pics the new ipod is being designed on the iPhone 3G look
