Even though more women bought, most don't think marketing is aimed towards them.

A meager 1 percent of women surveyed thought manufacturers had them in mind when creating products, according to the report, released at last week's Consumer Electronics Show.

Is Apple ahead of the curve again with the pink and green mini iPods? :D

That is an easy answer Mr. Anderson. Apple is always ahead of the curve when it comes to innovation. The headline isn't all that suprising, since there are more women in the population. We will just have to see what the sale figures are for the new iPod mini. Hopefully they will give a gender breakdown.

Well, in my house I didn't buy much in '03 (got my TiBook in Nov '02) but my wife bought an iBook, so I guess we did our part contributing to that statistic.
