Use Detol wipes or my preferred method blow hot air on it and wipe with a cloth...shirts work as well

I wouldn't use any liquid. I just use a soft cloth or my shirt.

I wouldn't worry too much about using a liquid to clean the screen, just make sure not to use excessive amounts. Also, make sure your iPhone is turned off so that if you do accidently use too much liquid, it will not short out or damage your phone.
