Anyone have trouble with aim's IM forwarding? My iPhone is jailbroken with T-Mobile.
I forwarded it to my phone number and I have unlimited txting. After I go on aim then sign off... I do stay online on mobile but the mobile stays on for about 11hrs or so then it gets disconnected.
Like last night I saw my screen name online on mobile and now this morning it went offline.
Anybody else faced this situation?

Out of box 1st gen and 3G iphone with latest patches, problem since beginning of time. Using mac.com registrations and straight up AIM names. Settings take when at mobile.aol.com and immediately appear as mobile in iChat or other application.
Remains in effect for <24 hours and then it boots me. The only way to restore mobile status is to go back to mobile.aol.com.
Its a very desirable feature that is terribly inconsistent!

I am trying to get my IM Forwarding to get with my 3G iPhone. When I first registered, it kept me online. After a while though it logged me off. Now whenever I log off AIM on my computer, it wont keep me on mobile. I don't know whats going on.
I tried deleting my phone from my AIM account, then adding it back in. No luck. Sometimes when I register my phone, it doesnt go under ATT...it goes under some other one named alltec or something.
Anyone have any solutions to this problem.
Thanks.

Interestingly enough, since around last monday Sept 29th ish, the IM Forwarding is working perfectly and retains the 'mobile forward' login whenever I am logged out!
We'll see how long it lasts, but I am very excited it is working.

Same here! Weird, maybe they did something to their servers?
