I'm still looking for a simple search/find function to use with my contact list. I've spent some time looking in the Ap store but have yet to find anything. Has anyone found an application that might work?

This drove me nuts until I stumbled across it. Scroll to the very top of the list, past the 'A's, and you'll find a search field.

Unfortunatley, this Search function does not look in the "Note" field where I really need it to look!

What is this application that I am saving? I'm not too keen on running an executable file that I have no knowledge of its behavior. I tried to enter just the beginning part of the link but it comes up to a blank website. Can you give me more information on this app? Thanks in advance.

Umm, there's only one way to get applications...and that's through iTunes store. You need to click the entire link, then it will launch iTunes and direct you to the application in the App Store. Like this:
If you notice, the first part of the link is apple.com...
