I was pricing up an Apple laptop today and noticed in the side bar on the right side that included in the price was a 'copyright levy'. Since when did this happen?
This is from the UK store. I thought I'd hear more of a fuss about this?
I would provide an image but I've done it at the wrong time as the Apple stores are down. But has anybody else seen this?

Ouch, I might have to start exporting Macs to the UK to combat the greed and stupidity of the failing record labels.

Hey thanks for the links, I've read that register story. I was wondering when did this happen because the UK government hasn't signed up for this so Apple have took it upon themselves to add the levy.
Just on principle I won't buy a new mac anymore, just refurbs maybe or ebay.
