How Much Longer?

Ok, just like everybody expected there were no mentions of macbooks today but how much longer will we have to waite? Ive heard maybe October? Will apple have an event like they did for the iphone and ipods or will it just be released? Is there some type of trend that apple does when releasing notebooks, like in the past how the iphone event is in June, the ipod event is in september and the macbook event is in ......................?

I hope its soon, i need a MacBook in 3 weeks before Uni. My iMac G5 died the other week and i need a replacement, just got enough time to wait at the moment.
