Have any of you had any success with controlling the output device routing when playing audio, i.e. directing it to the earpiece or speaker or both. If I specify a session category of PlayAndRecord is re-routes my output to the earpiece (the little speaker you use when in a normal phone call) when I need it to go to the speaker (the big speaker at the bottom of the phone).
Using AudioQueueSetProperty and kAudioQueueProperty_CurrentDevice looks promising, except that I can't find the device strings documented anywhere. It also appears that AQDefaultOutput is the current device when the earpiece is in use OR when the speaker is in use.
Any advice is appreciated!
