Will these serve any purpose on the iPhone other than listening to Audio mp3's??

Would the mic and other features work with phone calls?

I've wanted some apple in-ear iphone-compatible headphones since i got my iphone so i was excited when i heard about these coming out.

After reading the webpage, it doesn't say it works with any iPhone, just a few of the new iPods (iPod Classic 120gb, iPod Nano [4th gen-video], iPod touch 2nd gen). But I assume you can use them to listen to music with the iPhone, but as far as the volume buttons & the microphone working, I dont know.

Disappointment.
