Well, the failings of "genius" for those of us who use Airtunes are revealed once again. Playcounts only update for when you're actually at your computer, but most of the time I'm playing songs over the network.

When I'm actually at my computer I usually play Mozart piano concerts because they help me concentrate while I write. But I doubt they are my "most played" tunes and Genius can't generate playlists for them anyways. The next-most-played tune played directly from my computer is "Come On Eileen" -- I think because I like perky '80s music when I'm cleaning up my office. So this playlist looks a lot like what I listen to when I'm cleaning my office, but nothing like what I generally listen to just hanging around the house:

Come on Eileen, Dexy's Midnight Runners
Relax, Frankie Goes to Hollywood
Whip It,Devo
She Blinded Me With Science, Thomas Dolby
Blister in the Sun, Violent Femmes
Heart of Glass, Blondie
Our Lips Are Sealed, The Go-Go's
Just Can't Get Enough, Depeche Mode
You Were Meant For Me, Jewel
Mony Mony, Billy Idol

Here's a list generated from one of the playlists I listen to much more frequently:

Isn't It A Pity?, Ella Fitzgerald
They Can't Take That Away From Me, Ella Fitzgerald
Birk's Works, Dizzy Gillespie
Let Yourself Go, Kristin Chenoweth
You'd Be So Nice To Come Home To, Sarah Vaughan
Four Brothers, Woody Herman
Tuxedo Junction ,The Manhattan Transfer
Getting To Know You, Julie Andrews and Children
Of Thee I Sing (Baby), Ella Fitzgerald

Can't figure out how to post a NEW thread...........so sorry in advance.

I have maybe 4000 on iTunes. I create playlists for exercising, hoping to only have the FASTEST songs transferred to my iPod. I choose a great, fast song, press Genius, and voila, I have 100 like songs for the playlist. Problem is, when I go to listen, there are LOTS of SLOW songs among the 100. What do you think is the problem, and what can I do to fix it? Thanks a lot.
