1st Gen iPod touch and Nike+

As a first gen owner, I've been looking for Nike+ for ipod touch for a long time. Because the new touch has nike+ support, does this mean it will come to first gen ipod touches too? Even if I have to buy that plugin thing, I wouldn't mind as long as I have nike+. Anyone know the answer? Thx.

Apple has not said whether or not it's coming to the 1st gen iPod Touch.

I would say doubtful but you never know. It is a great way to get you to upgrade ;)
