iTunes deletes previous versions of updated Apps

Has anyone noticed that iTunes puts old apps in the trash after they have been updated

I still have different versions of the apps after iTunes 8.

Do you mean that iTunes trashes old versions if you update through iTunes 8?

yeah that's what I mean, when I updated some on my phone, the old ones ended up in the trash when I synced

iTunes 8 sends them to the trash regardless if you sync. Nice.

I had the same problem, did you try reauthorizing your computer on itunes?

I used to do it manually and it was a pain in the neck. So, brilliant! I just updated Truphone and it send the old one to the trash, so it works!
