Which one is better? How are they different?

crystal feels like the glass on the iphone, is perfectly clear and you cant really tell its on. also leaves fingerprints like the glass
anti glare has more of a matte feel. makes the screen a bit dimmer since it reduces glare, and fingerprints dont really show up as much.

ok thanks. I want to get rid of the finger prints so I guess I'll get the anti glare. Is the "feel" of the film very noticable?

I love the anti-glare since fingerprints irritate the heck out of me. I dont see them with that. And my brightness is set to about 30%, and I can still see pretty well.

I personally like the feel better with the anti-glare. Finger glides much more easily than on the bare glass.

Yeah, I've long considered the Power Support Anti-Glare, but I'm not sure if I can sacrifice screen quality. Does it dull out colors? Reduce brightness? Make it grainy? How much is the compromise?

I completely disagree with this. I found that the anti-glare made the screen look awful. Some people claim it makes a minimal difference, for me it was a huge difference. White backgrounds especially end up looking for lack of a better term, fuzzy. Overall clarity is reduced and brightness takes a hit. The fingerprint reduction is remarkable but still not enough of a trade off for me.

I agree its terrible. The grainy image makes it harder to read web pages. Images looks grainy. Movies you watch will look grainy. Not worth it just to have less fingerprints. I tried it and after a week or so, drove me nuts and replaced it with crystal clear.

I think it depends on what you hate more, grain or smudges? There may be another screen protector that has none. I hate the smudges, and the quality of the pix are still great. Not as great as having no cover, but I can deal. Boooooo fingerprints!!

Yep. I had the anti-glare for a day, I couldnt stand it and returned it for the crystal clear.

How do you remove the Power Support Crystal film? I had the Apple employee install mine, but I'll be removing it to install the SGP Anti-Fingerprint shield... :o

You can just pull it off with a piece of scotch tape. When you lift the tape off, the film will lift off with it.

By the way, I just installed the anti-glare and now having used both it's really nice not having to wipe the phone off several times a day. Yes, you lose a bit on the clarity, but it's not really enough to make me put the crystal back on. So far I'm ok with the anti-glare. I'd try it out if you haven't already.

Thanks Italchef! Worked like a charm! I installed the SGP Anti-Fingerprint shield and I agree with you completely! The texture is a little different and clarity is slightly affected, but not having those dreaded fingerprints all over the screen is well worth it!
Is the SGP Anti-Fingerprint film the same as the Power Support Anti-Glare?

I have the crystal clear. Less fingerprints than glass, thats for sure, but still fingerprints. I can't stand the fuzziness of the matte though; I use mine a lot for web browsing somewhat close to my face, and the anti-glare bugs the crap out of me.

I had the anti glare and got use to it but i just put on a full BodyGuardz kit and wow the screen does look awsome when its not dulled out with the frosty anit glare. So far the Bodyguardz is working well, and not many finger prints as you would think.

I went from BG front to PS crystal
PS is way clearer than the BG, and much smoother to touch

I would agree with you that it is a bit smoother, but when applied correctly Bodyguardz is 100 % optically clear ( you really cannot get better than that)
the problem with the PS crystal is that the protector itself can get scratched a lot easier than the BG shield

Always used the AG PS for the reasons mentioned, smooth feel, AG, fingerprints, loved them on the 3gs, BUT, the display on the 4 is just so nice, I may opt for crystal this time as there is definitely a slight reduction in clarity with the AG.

The anti glare is fantastic. An upgrade in feel and outside use
I know dozens of iPhone users and just about all have the PS AG film.
Am interested in their iPhone 4 "HD" anti glare shipping in a few weeks
