iPhoto and Photoshop working together??

In the prefs you can have it so when you double click on a pictures it opens in photoshop! Then when done with the photo saves it in the right place and iPhoto updates it self! This seems to good to be true. Is iPhoto apple verison of Photoshop Album 2.0?

Well I wanted to know if this was the best way to use photoshop and save photos or is it better to edit them first then add them to iphoto? I didn't know if iphoto does something weird to the file names for compression.

You can also drag pictures from iPhoto onto the Photoshop icon in the dock to open them.
