He's pointing out that fact that this looks like the iphone Nano, however maybe failed to see chinese lettering. It looks quite well done for a knockoff...if that's what it is.

I'm struggling to see what's happening in these pics. Just looks like an iPhone next to some PDA thing to me?

It's a copy of the iPhone.
The menu should be a dead give-away.

Yeah, there have been Chinese knock-offs of the iPhone since before it came out, but they've gotten progressively more sophisticated. The first ones were basically just PDA bodies with a phone inside.
So how does this one actually work like? Where did you get it? How is the screen -- is it multi-touch? How well do the apps work?
And for how much is it being sold? I don't want one, obviously, but it's a clue as to how cheaply the iPhone can be made....

Hi, I just received a third photo from my source (sorry for the James Bond language). He/she claims the 'iPhone' to be a genuine Apple iPhone. A kind of Samsung Armani style female phone. Please don't shoot me I am just a messenger and just as curious about it as you are.

It's clearly fake (3X3 icons instead of 4X4) but as others have said, I fail to see the point of the post.

You keep the money. Next week I think I will be able to convince you.
The original iPhone is about 1 inch longer I guess. I like new size.

I hope you do :)
An iPhone nano would be pretty sweet!
But some how i doubt this thing is real. Possible to get a video of this thing?

The blackberry in the pictures above is raised about the iphone on a pedestal which you can't see. You can tell by the shadows and the reflection of the light on the screens (bigger on the blackberry)
so it's just a trick of forced perspective and photoshop to put the UI onto the phone
EDIT: i'm not talking about the picture that ive quoted im talking about OP's pics

Exactly what I noticed! That and the reflection in each device shows the camera-man closer in the blackberry, and a bit further away on the iPhone, further proving your point.

Damn. Ok guys you win. But it was fun though. A non-photoshop fake. Just a small glass of wine under the HTC, that's all. The screen was faked but it could be done using MS Paint. More luck next time.
I still like the 'small' form factor as faked. Great for the wives. :) See you!

So glad it was fun for you. What other fakes do you plan on posting?

Great for the wives? I'd trade my iPhone right now for an iPhone nano. (:
