Bug with text message in 2.1

So I never had this problem on 2.0, 2.0.1 or 2.0.2 with my 3G model but now with 2.1 when I'm on the phone with someone and a text message comes in and makes the chirp noise on my end, the caller can also hear it (doesn't mute the sound for the microphone like it should be doing.)

When I had my T-Mobile Dash, it did the same thing. I had a transformers alert when I get text messages (sound when they transformed), and people that were on the other end were like WTF was that?

I haven't received a text message while on call so I haven't made this observation on my 3G.

I had that issue with 2.02. The person on the other end of the call would always say 'what was that?'

I had this on 1.1.4 too, it also vibrated my head. Not a new bug, nor a real issue, as my razr did it too.

I just tested this and i did not seem to have any issues with this at all

hey at least it makes a noise every time now! and the ringer volume stays where you set it!
