Okay, on my macbook, my clipboard has been hijacked by a security flaw in adobe flash (i found that via google)...

it wont let me put anything in the clipboard, and every time i paste i get:

DO NOT CLICK IT!!!

http://xp-vista-update.net/?id=01502200020

ONCE AGAIN DONT CLICK IT!!!

Any ideas on how to fix it? :apple: genius bar?

thanks,
rob

To my knowledge there is no "malware" for OS X. Why would you attach a link that supposedly "infects" people's computers?!

Guess what? I clicked it. It doesn't work. downforeveryoneorjustme.com says it's not even a site.

It definitely was hosting malware at some point (Check it (http://www.trustedsource.org/en/feedback/query?sid=&p=&q=xp-vista-update.net&dummy=)).

But it looks like their registar suspended the domain (which is why there are no longer any DNS records for that URL).

I'm still going to say, "Not malware for OS X", though.

This is so weird because the same thing happened to me on windows the other day! A restart fixed it though.
