ZEN Pinball: Rollercoaster broken after 2.1

Just want to give a heads-up.

ZEN Pinball: Rollercoaster is completely borked in 2.1. The app loads, but instead of the 3D pinball table, it's just a white screen underneath the lock/unlock camera toggle and volume controls.

I hope this gets patched. Perhaps with some framerate improvements...

I discovered today that my Zen pinball game is broken too after the 2.1 update. I tried deleting it from my iTouch and reinstalling it, but it did not help.

I sent them a message to suggest they do an update.

Yep same here, this'll be a good test to see how quick they respond. But I'm guessing an update will be at least two weeks away due to the App store approval process.

Our 2.1 update is currently awaiting iTunes review;
and until passed there's little we can do.

Hello Alexander,

Thank you for taking the time to write to us!

We have refined our physics engine over the last months, and the new version of the game (2.1) is at Apple for a week now to be released - the new version is with higher framerate, more responsive flipper arms and upgraded graphics.

This is free for our present customers of course, hopefully by the time you read this message it is already available :o)

I just found this too. I agree -- the graphics do look better and the sound seems a bit more punchy. I'm glad the update came out so quickly. I really like this game.

EDIT: After playing for a while, there are some other interesting tweaks I noticed:

-- Framerate is certainly better than before, a big improvement but not perfect.

-- The ball save ramp used to funnel the ball to the left lane twice, making it easier to re-trigger the ball save light. Now the ball hits that lane only once.

-- The far right lane is now easier to hit. It's important in the game but used to be nearly impossible to hit in the previous version.

-- The flippers don't stick in the up position as much. They used to jam quite often.

I agree there are minor changes, but overall for the better. The ball "feels" heavier now, closer to how it would react in an actual pinball game.

really the version is 1.0.5..! 2.1 is written in the icon, but just to say "ehi, i am compatible!"! :D

i'd like even the possibility to pause the current game while going back to the home..
then they should do an online ranking.. what is your best record?

is that just an impression of mine, or the game is now more difficult? i felt better before!
