me1000, nice, thanks.
though given the state of the app store, i doubt apple even knows what's just been released and what's not. i will add this and compare feeds for the next few days to see which one is more accurate and quicker in the updates.

just quick observation, looks like the apple feed is way way behind. like almost a whole day behind. they don't have flutter or darkbox which were apps just added within the past few hours i think.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5F136 Safari/525.20)

But what does this feed represent? At 126, it's obviously not all apps. It's in alphabetical order, it's not by date, so no way to glance at the newest.

Their feed updates al the time, probably about 150+ new updates daily.
I believe it will update the item when an app is updated, newest released apps at the top, while apps that get updates already in the feed just reupdate their feed entry. 945 items in the that feed, according to netnews wire.
Don't be so fast on dismissing it, i would be willing to bet the feed is automatically generated and will probably provide better updates than a 3rd party one...
