I used this website http://www.anders.com/guides/convert/video/iPod/windows.html
To get the programs and the help to convert a DVD to Itunes. But in the end run, I got the movie into Itunes, but it's 2.18 gigs (143 minutes). In the Itunes store it's only 1.68 gigs. And I've known people to get it even smaller. I want a decent quality (I'm not expecting anything wonderful, just basic) but I want it to be as small as possible. Is there anyway to condense the movie somehow? This is my first time doing this, so sorry if this is so stupid. Also sorry if this is in the wrong place (My new Ipod is the Touch, so that's why I'm figuring out all this movie stuff. I'm used to a 2g Nano).

Thanks in advance.

So you want to put a dvd movie onto your ipod touch?

Try iSquint ( http://www.isquint.org/ ) it's the best and you can choose the quality from worst to best. And don't forget to tick the box where it says "add to iTunes library" so you can sync it easily with your ipod.

When I had a PC running Windows I used DVD Decrypter to rip the DVD to my hard drive, then used Handbrake to convert it to be put on my iPod touch.
