my friend was texting his girlfriend through my phone and when he gave me my phone back i saw this and i've never seen this before by the way i just updated to 2.1 today...new feature maybe?

if you dont know what im talking about its the big button that says "load earlier messages" i've had a iphone since last year exactly and got a 3g phone when it came out and i've never seen this..anyone else get this just wondering by the way

i got 2.1 last night, and i havent seen that "load earlier messages" at all... also when i get a new text message it doesnt say who its from anymore, it only says "new text message".:mad:

This is something that can be changed within your settings. You'll find it under "Passcode Lock".

"Load earlier messages" only happens when you have a long text conversation with someone. The cutoff number isn't clear yet, though.

cut off is 50 messages, and pressing load earlier loads the next 50.
