Does anyone know if there is a bluetooth remote that would work with a MacBook? I want to be able to contol iTunes from another room without getting up :P

You can use remote buddy (http://www.iospirit.com/index.php?mode=view&obj_type=infogroup&obj_id=24&sid=7931505Gab2f0d1f6ef0a9af) and a wii remote
or if you have an ipod touch or iphone and are on the same wireless network, you can use the free remote (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=284417350&mt=8) application from apple.
or if you have an airport express you can plug an express remote (http://www.keyspan.com/products/urm17a/) from keyspan into the USB port.
also check out Keyspan's (http://www.keyspan.com/products/homepage.2.productList.Remotes.spml) tuneview and tuneview pro remotes, it will actually let you see what you are doing on the remote instead of punching blindly, but for the price it wouldn't be that much more to get a ipod touch.

Sync it with most bluetooth headphones (http://4dthinker.blogspot.com/search?q=Bluetooth+headphones)and you'll get play/pause, Volume +/-, and prev/next control. Of course the music too will be in the headphones and not heard from the Macbook. Range up to 10 meters. I've linked to some I've reviewed.

So, if you want to be able to run an app remotely and you’re not in a wifi zone, what are your options? Bluetooth or infrared?
