before I out down 9.99 on a game like spore I would like an opinion on what sort of game this is.
Is there a sandbox mode where I can just explore? 30 levels I hear but does it change that much if you create a different creature on a different game?
How diverse are these creatures?
I can always spend $10 on xbox live on a fame I already demoed so I need to ask how pol find spore after a few days of playthrough.
Thanks!

I've done 15 levels in 3 days. And let me tell you i'm not the kind of person who normally gets his games finished. i don't spend much time at all playing..
but i've gotten to 50% of the spores game just by playing on the metro on my way back and forth to work.
compare that to super monkey ball, spent 2 months to get the first world finished!! since they added the autoresume option things have improved a lot and got to level 3 but i'm stuck!!

To me it's high.Even if you beat it you can create new creatures, and do better and better.

i slightly regret buying it. it is a bit too easy... and the customize creature portion seems more limited than you would think.

Replay value... Not sure on that one as I am still trying to beat the last level (Level 30). So far I am happy with my purchase. One thing I hope is that EA plans on bringing out the rest of Spore as well, depending on how successful this one is. I just got Spore for my mac because I enjoyed the iPhone version, and the desktop game is great!

Replay value is high. They've taken what really is the best part of the game from the desktop version - it falls off after the Creature stage - and made it a bit better in Spore: Origins. I love it.

does anyone know if there's going to be a demo or lite version of this game? I'm interested in Spore but I really don't want to spend $10 w/out trying it first.
