NasCar chase for the championship thread

Not sure how many NASCAR fans we have here but I got JR winning at New Hampshire on Sunday and then cruising to his first championship. How about you?

Why is the title NasCar, its NASCAR all caps all the time, it is an acronym for National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing. Just thought I'd throw my NASCAR nerdness out there, and I dont think JR will win, its going to be Carl or Kyle.

I don't get NASCAR at all... I mean, no offense to lovers of the sport.

All I know is Schumacher and Andretti are the best drivers.

NASCAR can be fun to watch when it gets down to the wire, some of the races are extremely boring but some of those tracks are hard core.

Watch a track like Bristol and you'll understand. I used to hate NASCAR, but then I started watching it and you really get into it. There is a reason there are a lot of open wheel guys are going to NASCAR, there is money to be made in the sport and its making the sport really exciting!! You don't see INDY drivers crashing into each other on purpose! Don't get me wrong I LOVE F1, but theres just something Historic and American about NASCAR that I LOVE!! GO CARL!!!

they are all intense at some point, the short tracks are my favorite though...that is the only reason I said that haha
