View Full Version : Quicktime 6.5 install problems

I regularly use iSync to check for updates and found that Quicktime 6.5 was available. So, I downloaded and started to install it. Got to the screen where it required a serial number to continue HOWEVER on the same page it states if you don't have a serial number don't worry just continue. I tried but I keep getting a popup screen saying that the number is incorrect. Any help on this??? BTW, running a G5 1.6 w/ Panther 10.3.2. Thanks

Me too on a 1.25 Powerbook with Superdrive! I still have Software Update open in the background. Is it to quit out if I can't continue? I'm a new switcher and wouldn't have dared in Windoze

As I recall I just quit and there was no problem. Still wish I could find someone to answer the question as to how to update or why we can't. BTW, recent switcher too so everything is pretty new.
