I have heard rumoured that Toshiba is making 128GB SSD's, do you think the will be in a new/revised MBA?
I also read that apple is supplied all its flash memory memory from Samsung, which is why im not sure if this is true or not..

I'm hoping they do. If not these drives in particular, I'm almost positive Apple will up the HD space in the macbook air's with the next revision. If they do that, add 2 gigs of memory, and give them better processors, I'm buying. I love the form factor.

I too really hope so.
I love my MBA, but in today's day and age, 58gb SSD is just too small.
I hope we get an upgrade soon with:
128 gb SSD
4 gb memory
Faster GPU
2 ghz CPU (for HD)
If Apple offers that, I'll buy day one. Add a longer battery life or another USB, and it'll be perfect. But honestly, what I need is more storage and more memory...

Intel have an 80gig 1.8" SSD available now, although i don't believe its compatible with the current gen Airs PATA/ZIF connection. I see that as being far more likely in the next MBA due mainly to price alone, especially if the update happens soon.
Samsung, Toshiba, Mega Talent, Mtron all have 128 gig 1.8" SSD's confirmed but none are available as yet.

My guess would be that the next update of the MBA would be a HDD of 120 GB. If that update is to come soon - such as this autumn - then I doubt we'll see the upgrade in the SSD that some posters here have hoped for, as competitively priced SSD drives at that capacity are not yet available. It may take another year for the capacity and the price to make the addition of larger SSD drives to the MBA feasible. Yes, I agree it would be wonderful to see now, but I doubt we'll see it.
Cheers

Depends what you mean by "competitively priced." Although it's true that SSDs will command a premium price over HDDs for a while, other vendors are already selling lightweight laptops with 128GB SSDs. Apple will have to as well if it wants to stay competitive.
