View Full Version : Best way to skip songs while driving?

With my old iPod, I could -- without looking -- reach down and press the skip button. Now with the iPhone, I have to actually look at the phone... not convenient and not safe.

Since I do auxiliary line-in, I thought the best solution would be to have a connector cable with a play/pause/skip button on it, like the headphones do.

Has anyone seen something like this? Or does anyone have any better solutions?

Thanks.

What method are you using to listen to your iPhone in your car?

Have you tried leaving your headphones plugged in while you are listen to music, and then using their click button to skip tracks.

Headphone jack to car stereo, via auxiliary input.

Since you use the headphone jack, you could probably use something like a first gen iPhone headphone adapter - http://www.macworld.com/article/132284/2008/02/iphone_adapters.html
