Will this work for the 1st gen iPhone? It says iPhone 3G but I'm pretty sure this case is for the 1st gen iPhone right?

It does appear to be the old case.

It doesn't say 3G. I think that's for the 1st gen.

Look at the bottom of the page. It has the iPhone 3G icon. But I know for sure that it's for the 2G iPhone.

that's is the 1st gen iphone case in the pictures. the 3g slider has the "incase" on the lower left of the top portion vertically while the 1st gen has it horizontally, as pictured.
