I know you guys are sick of hearing questions like this, but I can't find a straight answer. I'm currently jailbroken on windows using quickpwn 2.0.1 firmware file and 2.0.2 firmware on the phone. Everything is fine.

All I want to know is if I need to do a restore as new phone before I can jailbreak to 2.1? Or if I will be able to just jailbreak leaving my phone exactly as it is now?

I am in the same boat. I hope the devteam will come out w/ a revised QuickPwn for 2.1 for Windows soon for simple jailbreak like 2.0.2.

yes same boat here

i think most people are either at this situation or 1.1.4 jb/unlocked

so it may be helpful to have a guide that address this issue

We are I think. I read the QuickPwn 2.1 jailbreak guide. Its much more complicated to jb 2.1, then it was to jb 2.0.2.
