iPod touch is it safe to jailbreak?

if i were to jb my ipod touch, and something were to happen to it and i have my Apple warranty, will they still exchange it? also is it easy to uninstall?

It's not an "uninstall". You have to reformat with a non-jailbroken firmware to go back to normal.

Apple will immediately void your warrantee if they catch you with the jailbroken device.

what if you get a best buy warranty or w/e

I don't know what the Best Buy warrantee covers, but they're not intelligent enough to look for that sort of thing unless Apple has told them to (and they probably have).

If best buy realizes you have jailbroken your ipod they won't cover it under the warranty. They are very strict with their warranties.

But all you do is revert back to old firmware. The end.
