Do Apple put their refurb minis out? When do they update their stock because at the moment it seems no refurb minis are out.

I believe that the mini's normally are $100 off as refurbs. (Disclaimer I've only had one cup of coffee this morning so it might be $120 off).
So the $799 model is either $679 or $699.
The mini's don't last long when they show up on Apple's refurb site. So the best chance is to check early in the morning.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5F136 Safari/525.20)
Mini's, as of late, tend to sell out of the refurb store quickly. Apple updates it early in the am (~5am EST). Price points are $679 for 2.0 C2D and $499 for the 1.83 C2D.

This is the correct info here. They come and then sell out quite quick.
