$3 for the official Line Rider app.

You draw it! Bosh rides it! A simple concept yields endless fun and now the smash Internet phenomenon comes to your iPhone and iPod touch with cool new community features!

In Line Rider you draw a track with a simple pencil tool then send Bosh on his sled careening down the course until he wipes out! Create a landscape with as many ramps, hills, and jumps as you can imagine. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination and the physics of a boy on a sled.

Now with Line Rider iRide you also get track sharing! Upload your masterpieces to share with the iPhone community! Download and rate tracks made by others! Browse by categories of Most Recent and Top Rated or search by author and track name.

Also check out new features including Draw&Pan, Gravity Tilt and Night Ride!

I know I'll be getting this soon :D.

Sweet!

Been waiting for this since Kotaku mention did for DS, then talked about the iPhone get it too.

Looks nice...and I got de Blob today, which is great(from the little I've played)

iPhone is starting to shape up to be a great little platform for games!

It looks nice. And the upload/download feature sounds cool. I'll probably get it in the morning. Maybe then it will be on the phone app store. I can only get it in iTunes. Plus, I'd never get to bed if I got of now.

Well, I don't know. But it's official so it runs exactly like the desktop version. It's got great graphics and online features. Runs very smooth.

this is much better.... also has track sharing and flags etc all the usual....
only problem is aint sure how to upload/share tracks. their site is kinda limited because theres no iPhone option when you create an account, just wii, pc and ds

Yeah it's loads better, although doesn't ..ride as fast as the flash version, so everything you think you know, is actually out of proportion.

My first try is uploaded with the super generic name "Mountain Ride 1". If anyone wants to see it just search :P.

You need to register at linerider.com first before downloading other rides, no?

So I went and tried to register, by filling in the "create new account" form, but when I clicked on "submit," I got an error message that says:
Real Name field is required.
Gender field is required.
Postal field is required.

However....NONE of those fields are actually showing up! I tried to register in Firefox (in case it was some weird Safari problem), but I still get the same form that has NO real name/age/postal code fields. WTF?? :(

Yup, you need an account :\.

Hmm I remember entering that stuff.

Oh, it seems to appear immediately after you enter your birth date.

The odd thing is that I DID enter my birthdate in Safari, and it still didn't show up. Tried it again just now, and nothing. However, I tried it in Firefox too (didn't bother before, as I thought maybe it just wasn't showing up at ALL for me), and that seemed to work. Thanks!

I did! Very cool. I think it's going to be a while before I can do anything as advanced as the examples uploaded so far.

Are there tips/tricks to doing complicated tracks? Or do people just make these by a LOT of trial and error?

I'm a trial and error person. But there are tons of tricks I notice when I watch "pro" tracks.

Here's some.

This techdawg guy seems to be one of the best. I guess he's really good. I think he designed all the built in tracks for LR 2.
