No Edge, Wifi or Bluetooth...Fix?

Am I screwed? Is this device done? I've read one place where it says I am done. Please help. I've been searching since Thursday.

I used ZiPhone as this is what I am hearing is causing a lot of the issues.

What firmware version do you have on your phone? Next, delete ZiPhone and never even THINK about using it again.

Open iTunes and hit restore. This should fix your phone. Restore it with the most current version (2.1, yes, you want 2.1. 2.1 is the best, you want 2.1. Nothing else.)

Then once you're sure your phone is operating properly, use Pwnage Tool or WinPwn or QuickPwn to hack your phone.

I was downgrading. I never use ZiPhone. My buddy said why are you using those, just use ZiPhone and me like an idiot listened. It's not even my phone.

I need it to be unlocked, will 2.1 allow me to?

Restore (not upgrade) to 2.1. The baseband should be locked again.
Then use pwnagetool or winpwn and create a custom 2.1 firmware (w/ bootneuter if u want it unlocked) then jailbreak using the custom 2.1 firmware

I restored using 2.1. Now I use WinPwn... Everytime I've used it, it seems to exit out. Only time it seemed to work was when I use it as QuickPwn.

I also have a PC, not a mac.

No way to use QuickPwn? I'm a newb at this Win/Qucik/Pwning.

How do I create a customer 2.1 file? I only have the options of :

2.0

2.0.1

2.0.2

Make sure it's for 1,1 iPhone and NOT a 1,2 iPhone, that is the iPhone 3G.

Then you won't even have to use QuickPwn or WinPwn.

I tried and I was unsuccessful. I still don't have WiFi, EDGE or Bluetooth.

My issue is that I need to have it unlocked before going to 2.1 I'm assuming. Then go to 2.1, but I believe I will still be screwed still.

I went to 2.1 using the customer hash and it did nothing.

Now I went back to 7.7 and 2.0 and will be going to 2.0.2 and then 2.1.

Edit: Finally got it going up to 2.0.2 with a customer ipsw. Thanks all for the help!

Then use QuickPwn to activate/unlock/jailbreak.

If you STILL have no wifi/edge/bluetooth, then ZiPhone srsly f*cked your ***** up. Can't help you.

I finally got 2.0.2 jailbreaked/unlocked/activated. I had to show the girl progress before she thought I was BSing her.


I still have no WiFi or Bluetooth. I have updated to 2.1 and had to go back down to 1.1.4 and up to 2.0 then 2.0.2

Can someone build me a custom ipsw (I'm a newb, so I apologize if I ask for the wrong things) that has 2.1 unlocked/activated (jailbreak if possible, cydia) new baseband / bootneuter & 700mb partitioned?

All I really need is for the Bluetooth to work as she never used wifi before. She doesn't want to get a ticket and hates cords.
