Can you save pics off of websites?

I was wondering if you can save pcitures off of websites, like you can on windows computers( on windows a simple right click and save as allows you to save a picture). i'm new to using macs and im sure theres a way of doing it but i dont know how!
 
Assuming you use Safari: right-click on the desired image and choose "Save image to Downloads" or "Save image as..."
