I need to make a destructive trim in iMovie, because I am dragging the clips out of the timeline, and onto someone else's computer. The clip itself should only be like 5 megabytes, but it says it's like 300 megs because iMovie, as you know, is a non-destructive editor.

So how can I make a non-destructive edit without buying QuickTime Pro?

Thanks
