Hi,
Has anyone with an ATI 3870 upgraded to 10.5.5? If so, any issues?

I've noticed more stability and better / more consistent frame rates while playing World of Warcraft.
The update lists "graphical enhancements" as a highlight, but I don't know what is meant by it. I'm wondering if the update included a new ATI driver.
I repaired my permissions, installed the update via Software Update. Then installed the Combo Update over top of that, and repaired permissions once more afterwards. My Mac Pro is running a lot smoother.

playing any kind of video (divx, wmv, etc) seems to no longer speed up the fan of my 3870, which is great cuz now when i watch movies it doesnt make the annoying noise.
itunes coverflow doesnt seem to affect the video card anymore either. GREAT update for me. im quite happy.

"Running a lot smoother".... could you please elaborate how "rough" it was before the update?

What kind of FPS do you get in lets say Shatt with everything turned all the way up ?
