hhmmm.... sounds like an interesting camera. so it basically just takes really trippy photos? :p

That sounds like a lot of fun! I had never heard of this type of camera... Has it been around long?

I wonder how long till they come up with a digital version of it!

they are basically shoddy Russian cameras that the has a type of lens that creates super saturated photos. its also a wider angled camera too for a little bit of a fish eye effect.

the flash has 9 different colors i think, it should be here tomorrow

ive had a lomo for many years now and i can say its a real fun camera

i have 10 or so cameras and it is one of my favorites.

The lomo is great. But its the rules of lomography which really make the medium. the first rule being "there are no rules" and another being "don't think, shoot"

Its about capturing the moment.

There are many different kinds of lomos as well. Some that shoot 4 frames in sequence and fit it on a single picture.

the most defining characteristic of a lomo however is the subtle vingette around the corners of the frame.
