Can anyone comment about how long can you browse internet on second generation ipod touch? Any comparisons with 1's generation?

Some other remarks- I noticed that it is somehow more difficult to use "keyboard" on 2'd generation ipod touch- I was hitting wrong letters almost all the time. Also international keyboards seems pretty useless because they don't display special symbols.

I find the keyboard is pretty easy on my iPod. The Internet, from full to empty battery, might last 4 1/2 to 5 hours. Of course, if you aren't satisfied with that, you could always get an external battery.

That is a bit much. Maybe 4-4 1/2 hours tops.

That sounds right to me.

Without music, and the brightness turned greatly down...

Using the internet would require the backlight to be on, which takes up most of the juice. So it entirely depends on how bright it is.

humm... i bought the 16GB 2G based on apple's site that simply lists:

16GB
3,500 Songs
20 Hours Video

i mean, it was always clear to me that wi-fi uses more battery life, but that really sucks if wi-fi/safari reduces it to 4.5 hours... jesus...

[EDIT]

OMG I"M SO DUMB!!! i can't believe it, i totally though 20 hours of video was referring to 20 hours of watching videos... hahahah...
