iPod touch write diary with itouch

anyone knows how can i write diary with itouch and synch the files to my mac? at least txt files to store, but colorful ones would be fine.

someone told me itouch stores notes in a rare format which can't be synched to mac.

if the notes part is not good for writing diary, is there any free app to do so?
