do we really have to wait 24 hours for it to dry?

Im talking about after installing the bodyguardz on the ipod touch. Is it necessary to let it dry for 24 hrs without using it? I know I cant resist using it the first day! Will it be detrimental if I do? Do u guys let it dry for 24 hrs before ever using it?

I had to wait for 24 hours for my invisible shield to dry. I would rather forget about the thing and wait a day, rather than having the corners peel up or something get all messed up.
