What settings are you using in Handbrake?

Reposting here after accidently posting this in the wrong forum...

What settings is everyone using for Handbrake? Using the defaults, the half dozen movies I've ripped have come out to a little over a gig. They look great, but is it overkill? I could experiment with smaller sizes, but thought I'd see what everyone here is using.

I use the iPod Hi Rez default setting on the Mac Pro at work. I have a setting I use on my MacBook when I want speed that's basically the same bit rate etc but using MPEG-4 and two pass.

I've only used the iPhone/iPod Touch preset and it worked fine for me.

I can't get handbrake to recognize any files, so I use QT to convert the films... works perfect.
