Hi,
I don't really know much about where to find software for my Mac, so can anyone please tell me a good program to use to download music (preferably for free...:rolleyes: ) for my OS9?

i guess finding a free music download site wouldnt be easy now..if you can spend some money use itunes. else u can ask someone who uses windows to download the songs from www.kazaa.com

If you still use OS 9, you won't have much choice. I guess Limewire from http://www.limewire.com is about the only current application that still runs on Mac OS 9. You should set its memory size in the get info dialog to min. 40MB, better 64MB to prevent frequent crashes.

This is very close to the "I want free/bootlegged software, where can I find it" treads of yesteryear which were repeteadly got users banned and threads sent ot the wasteland.

It's pretty obvious when you can click Profile and see "NOLF tag [POP]Manitou" :)

one of the best p2p mac clients is Poisoned. It connects you with 4 networks:

giftd
Fast Track (Kazza)
Gnutella
OpenFT

you r usually connected to 3 to 4 million people with about 550.000.000 Files and 500.000.000 GB of data :D

Cheers Dave for the link, works just fine except that it's only avaliable on OSX, which means not for me:(.
